I'm Kira, a conceptual photographer specialising in crafting dreamy portraits.
Growing up with two incredibly creative parents who nurtured my early passion for drawing and painting has profoundly influenced my artistic journey. My love affair with photography began at the age of 14 when I received my first camera as a birthday gift. I took it everywhere, capturing images of everything that caught my eye. Photography became my chosen medium throughout my VCE years, which then led me to complete my studies at RMIT in Photo Imaging, inspiring me to pursue it further as a potential career. Now, over a decade later, I find myself still deeply immersed in this art form.
From a young age, I've been drawn to sci-fi films, fantasy, dinosaurs, reptiles, and anything space! However, it's Frida Kahlo who has had the most significant impact on my artistic identity. Her work has been a guiding light, offering me inspiration and insight during moments of creative exploration.
